Short description:
Day 1: Pick up from your hotel at 8 AM and private transport to Musho where our donkeys and donkey drivers will be waiting for us. From there we walk approximately 4-5 hours to the Huascaran Basecamp.
Day 2:5-6 hours hike to the morrain camp at 5250 m. Last 2 hours we walk on the glacier. Porters help us carrying food, equipment and tents.
Day 3: 4-5 hours to the high camp 2 at 5950 m. Porters help us carrying food, equipment and tents.
Briefing about the attack with your guide and preparation of your pack for tomorrow.
Day 4: We get up at 2:00 AM to have breakfast (or maybe only drink a cup of coffee) and get dressed. At 3 AM we start hiking towards the glacier to reach the summit approximately 5-7 hours later. Descend to high camp 2.
Day 5: Extra day as restday or waiting day for the weather. If you don't need it, you go on with the itinerary of day 6.
Day 6: 5-6 hours walking back to the base camp.
Day 7: From the base camp hike back to Musho from where our private transport will take you back to Huaraz for your well-deserved shower.
